UXO Pro assists state governments and foreign countries in cleaning up property contaminated with unexploded ordnance (UXO). UXO is a serious hazard that remains after our military uses property as a training area.

Military base closures over the last century have resulted in property that is contaminated with UXO being returned to the states or private ownership. This land was often in remote locations and was not heavily used. However, the constant expansion of suburban areas outside of our major cities has created a hazardous situation due to encroachment into these former military training areas. Several serious accidents and near accidents have occurred when local civilians and construction workers found UXO.

Our armed forces are doing the job of identifying and cleaning up these sites and UXO Pro is participating by assisting state governments and foreign countries in their oversight of these cleanups on their land. States and foreign countries may not have the technical knowledge in this type of remediation work to properly oversee and manage the cleanup of UXO-contaminated property to achieve safe reuse. UXO Pro assists them by providing this expertise
